(Sudbury – 12 September 2017) As we have reported to you, we have had an extremely difficult time getting the employer to agree to negotiations, that is, to “Come to the Table.” We were able to coax a few dates out of them thanks to mounting public pressure. In light of that, LUFA took the initiative and booked Friday, Sept. 15, for mediation talks with Mr. William Kaplan. As you may know, Mr. Kaplan has been instrumental in helping the parties in the past. We have booked the hotel room and Mr. Kaplan’s time, and importantly, we have invited the employer— to come to the table. Last night their Chief Negotiator informed us via email that in fact they would not be in attendance with us on Friday, even though he had earlier indicated that the date was available to them. Despite the administration’s seeming indifference, our team remains ready and willing to negotiate.
The LUFA Executive
Played with three dice and a crowded betting layout, sic bo offers more distinct wagers than almost any other table game. Each round is a single shake, and every bet on the felt resolves against that one result. The variety of options is the appeal and also the main source of confusion.
Reading The Sic Bo Betting Grid
The layout splits into simple totals, specific triples, number combinations and single number bets, each with its own payout and its own edge. Players learning the grid often Katana Spin to see the house percentages listed against each wager. The small and big bets, covering totals of four to ten and eleven to seventeen, carry roughly a 2.8 percent edge, the lowest on the table.
| Bet Group | What To Know |
|---|---|
| Big and small | Lowest edge on the layout |
| Totals | Edge varies widely by number |
| Triples | Huge payouts, worst percentages |
- Learn the simple totals before exploring the combination bets
- Check the edge printed against each wager type
The crowded layout invites scattering small bets across many outcomes, which quietly raises the overall edge paid per round. Concentrating on the simple wagers keeps the mathematics as favourable as they get here. Treat the dice as entertainment, agree a budget in advance, and leave the exotic corners of the grid alone unless the cost is understood.
